Fiddes Payne have an impressive range of mixed seasoning mills, ready for you to grind over salads, steaks and whatever else you fancy adding a bit of an edge to. The range, which includes the likes of Spicy Steak Seasoning, Sea Salt with Seaweed and Spice-it-up, all come in handy mills that you can refill.

Spicy Steak Seasoning gives you a clue in the title, but can be ground liberally over anything that you fancy giving a chilli kick – egg mayonnaise perhaps or a bowl full of chilli. Spice-it-up actually has a little more potency over it’s Spicy Steak sibling, and tastes really good over a fried egg and toast, although more conventional pairings might be meat stews, spaghetti bolognaise and BBQ chicken.

Each grinding mill comes with its own lid, so you can turn the mill on its sturdy end and stick the lid on, thus reducing mill-spill and the inevitable sneezing that chilli and pepper tend to invoke.
