Fish Hoek Pinotage Rose 2008

Fish Hoek Pinotage Rose 2008

Serve this rose super chilled, and get your tongue around its decidedly strawberry notes. Some people will eternally view ice cubes in wine as a social faux pas, but we’re not swayed by snobbery at iLoveMyGrub, and we happily threw a few cubes into our wine glasses full of this stuff.

Try Fish Hoek’s rose served with mouth-watering fish dishes, such as grilled salmon with a chilli, lime and coriander crust or fillet of plaice, with roast cherry tomatoes and spinach, sprinkled with pine nuts. It’s a real summer wine naturally, but bold enough to take on fish-based winter dishes too.

Available from Tesco and Somerfield, priced at £6.19.
