Gower Cottage Brownies

Gower Cottage Brownies

Described on their box as “exquisite as the area they come from”, these home baked Welsh brownies do the statement justice. The box actually smelled deeply of cocoa before I even open it, so I assumed it was going to be a decent brownie that hit my taste buds. And it was. The brownies actually tasted so good that I forgot to function for a moment, completely distracted from everything else whilst my mouth flooded with the taste of chocolate, and my brain went a bit endorphin crazy.

Kate Jenkins started selling her brownies in her local village shop, but the world felt left out, so she expanded to supplying delis, cafes and farm shops. If you’re nowhere near the Welsh borders, then don’t despair – you can order these dark, cocoa-rich brownie slabs from the Gower Cottage website. Just don’t expect to be able to focus on anything else.

Priced at £14.99 for a box of 12, available from: http://www.gowercottagebrownies.co.uk/.
