Nairn’s Oat Bakes
Nairn's have come up with these healthy snacks that look like crisps but are in fact super thin oat biscuits. They have been baked, rather than fried - earning instant brownie points when it comes to lowering fat content. They're also wheat free, with no hydrogenated fat or added sugar.
So - do they taste terrible then? Well, no - they come in three flavours, and although the tomato, garlic & basil and the salt & pepper flavours didn't have us rolling around in ecstasy, the cheese flavoured Oat Bakes were extremely good and had us rummaging around at the bottom of the packet before you could say "pass me another."
This new range from Nairn's also has a low glycaemia index, which means that your blood sugar and energy levels are helped to stay even when you devour this healthy bag of oaty snacks.
